| Ivy Hill is still an
active
cemetery with a very nice selection of interment sites available.
The vast majority of these site are in Section 42. This is the
newest
section at Ivy Hill and is located on the hill on the far side of the
creek
(Timber Branch) which runs through the cemetery. While there is a
nice selection, the number of remaining sites is not unlimited.
The sites in this section cover the entire range of pricing. The factors that determine the cost of interment sites are many and varied. Prices are determined by the type of marker, monument, memorial, plant materials or combinations thereof that can be placed on the site or sites. The prices do include provisions for short, intermediate, and long term care. The price does not include any marker, monument, memorial, or provisions for planting, but reflects the amount of care and maintenance that will be generated by the differing styles of memorialization. The other factor which affects price is the proximity of the interment site to the placement of gardens, trees, other markers, memorials, monuments and other topographic characteristics. |
